They will beg for State money..not an easy sell with Qball bad mouthing the legislators and gov, they will need new city tax. And likely ask for bustard funding and tax joco and wyco. Then there is bond authority to be voted on. Oh, and anything Royals get the Chiefs will expect.

Downtown KC is in Jackson County. Now the Jackson County Sports Authority is another matter. Keep them involved or buy them out?

Why does a good like moving a downtown sport to a downtown setting always have to result in these fights? while we all love the K in some ways, it's time to move on and put the Royals in a place where they might be able to draw a few more fans, the "Businessman's Special" when it's a short walk from the downtown office to the venue? Sure, it'll cost some coin, the Royals may still take 50+ years for the stars to align and not be a joke, but it would be nice to possibly give some bored people in those office building some place to hide from the boss.
