There were rumors Beckham was holding out for a $20 million contract. Landing a deal over $4 million is a better target for Beckham, who may struggle for guarantees beyond this year after missing 2022 with a torn ACL. It sounds to me like Veach offered OBJ what he offered Juju last year. You'll get $4 million guaranteed and have a bunch of incentives built in to get you a lot higher.

No organization worth their salt is offering Beckham Jr. anything other than incentive laden contract language. He’s coming off two consecutive major knee injuries and is 30 years old. He doesn’t have the leverage here as much as he wants to cry on social media.
