The best we were hoping for with Morris was just don’t let Mahomes get killed. If Humphries can get us to competent, like to the point we don’t have to chip and can still run a deep pass play, that’s just huge. |

I think the money speaks for itself. And I don’t think Humphries signed that deal to watch someone else play LT. I’d be shocked if he isn’t the starting LT sometime next month |
I think you need to get him out there at some point and see what you have because if it’s any good, yeah, then there’s a sample size to determine if he’s the guy in 2025 too or not.
It’s gonna be a kinda weird transition though. Wanya hasn’t been unplayable lately. This would be more about seeing if for some odd reason Mahomes will just play with more trust when the vet is in the lineup. Much as was the case with Orlando. He wasn’t a Pro Bowl tackle in my mind, but Mahomes didn’t seem to worry about him even on his bad days the way he has with Wanya and Kingsley. |

You're on of those "Wanya Morris is the only problem" type of guys. |
The idea this guy wasn't brought in to start is ridiculous.

Humphries offense in Arizona was not like that |
At the very least he’s nice insurance in the event Wanya goes down with another injury

Humphries has the quickness off the snap as well as the arm length to keep edge rushers wide around the arc. Stays vertical in his set as long as he can, then he turns and uses the arm length to work edge around as the QB steps up. Clearly signed to replace Trey Smith

People should realize that all these teams giving us their best shot has got to be the hardest on the guys in the trenches. This o-line is getting guys coming at them a million miles an hour trying to wreck Mahomes. They want him more than any other QB they play. When it counts, on betting on them being back to form. |
Maybe it was posted earlier, but was there a reason Arizona cut him vs just riding out his injury?
