Just talked to Roosters...he says they'll be hammered Sunday so to guarantee a table (I said 4 or 6) he said have somebody come a couple of hours early. Has anyone tried Half Moon Sports Bar or Philly's Sports Bar and Grill? I haven't been to either, just throwing out places I looked up online.

Philly’s is pretty good. Caught the Browns Chiefs game there last year.

There’s some good and some bad here. On the one hand, you make a strong commitment to attend. On the other though, just when Scho seems to make a decision about venue, you throw out two new ideas, not because you know they’re superior, but because you found them online. This group doesn’t need that kind of confusion. Options abound. Decisions and firm commitments are hard to come by. :)

In a much more real sense though, this thread takes me back to the Midwest non-committal days of deciding where to eat with my parents and siblings.

My wife never liked deciding where to eat so our process was that I’d ask her what she wanted and she’d turn to our kids and ask them. It used to frustrate me that we were letting our pre-teens decide what was for dinner, but I learned to either take matters into my own hands or, more often, just live with it. We were very much in the Midwest non-committal culture, or at least my wife was.

That's what happened when my wife and I were alone and she didn't have the kids to ask.

Hey guys, I'm hosting the SB party at my house. We'll make a whole day event of it. Big back yard so we'll have a number of games like corn hole, a chipping contest, etc. Come one come all CP friends, just let me know you're coming.
