Game is over...Cowherd says the cold weather takes the crowd out of it and thus the Chiefs. No need to even play the game. The Brady's win.

No, no, no.....there will be an "Arctic Blast" and that will "favor the better defense" and "take away the crowd and the speed of the Chiefs" and "Brady is the only QB who wins in the cold because Michigan and Foxborough" ....

That shit is funny as ****, I like how there is also no mention that super cold weather does not favor a an old player with a weakening arm.

Brady is the only QB who can win in the cold because Michigan and Foxborough......we should just save Mahomes for next season

So the temp in KC on Saturday was pretty much the exact same is it was on Sunday in Foxborough except it was Sunny and dry in Boston. It was snowing like crazy and wet in KC.

But you know, Chiefs can't win in the elements.

Unfortunately, the severe cold will make it harder for the crowd to make noise.

I still think KC is the favorite, but probably not much more than a coin flip.

Well you see it's a matter of noise dampening scarves. Don't argue, it's science.

Why the **** would they do that? Yea let’s move on Saturday when it’s supposed to snow and have a arctic blast. Real common sense. If the Chiefs are worried about it being so cold then they should just forfeit

It will actually be warmer Saturday. I just wondered if they might move it because of fan safety more than player. I saw though the coldest game the Chiefs ever played in KC was 1 degree so bundle up....

The major problem with the cold weather is Arrowhead wont be as loud as if it was warmer. The mittens will hurt the noise, and I cant remember how loud I could yell when the weather was down in the single digits? Of course, in my case, it would have been yelling at cows! :-)

The current NWS forecast says 22 on Saturday, windy, with 90% chance of snow before noon. Sunday - sunny, high around 11, with very little wind.

Sunday, as crazy as it sounds, actually looks better than Saturday.

No precipitation is the real key.

I wonder how many passes were dropped due to slick balls.

Indy couldn't catch a cold. Reek dropped two.

As somebody who did a lot of ice fishing back in the day, I'd rather have colder and dry than cold and wet. Once you get to 20 and below, there's not much of a perceptible difference but add in moisture and it's miserable.

That being said, the big problem with it being sunny on Sunday is that the bottom is going to fall out of the thermometer when the sun goes down.

Patriot fan here who prefers Chief win it all this year if Patriots don't win this game.

That being said while the Chiefs should be at least good as long as Mahomes is healthy and in his 20's/early 30's, this year and the following 2 years are the Chiefs best shot at Super Bowl title(s).

Mahomes and even Hill will both be less valuable when they are getting paid market rate contracts.... Will Mahomes take less money like Brady did at times? Maybe. I don't know. But either way due for huge raise.

Seattle might even be in the Super Bowl this year if Russell Wilson was still being paid peanuts.

As long as Brady stays healthy -- and that could change with one play in regular season/post season/off season -- the Patriots should be very good for a few more years as long as he doesn't try to break the bank on his next contract. Tons of picks in this years draft to get some cheap talent.
And even a first round pick that may be good returning from injury next year.

Post Brady could be bleak for a while since it is tough to win without a top 10ish QB. Tough to know but Patriots don't appear to have a good backup qb.

And it goes without saying, the name of the game isn't to win this game but to win the Super Bowl. Nothing against the Chiefs but I am more confident of the Patriots chances against the Chiefs or already banged up Saints in Super Bowl than I am against the Rams.

I am working under assumption real cold/bad weather hurts wide receivers running long routes more than defensive backs.

Should be a good game. Good luck to Chiefs in Super Bowl if they win this Sunday.

See NE fans, this is great example of how to come in as a guest fan and post without trolling. Welcome stevegroganfan

As a kid I hated Richard Todd. Come to think of it, I still do.

Have requested Pawnmower to re-record his infamous voiceover from the 142.2 dB game.

It may be cold, but it doesn't look like it will be windy. The field has hydronic heat underneath it, so it shouldn't be slick, etc. I don't see a lot of issues with the weather. 10 and light winds is not that bad for the fans and screaming if they are dressed appropriately.
