That’s crazy money for Jackson coming off injury. Yikes.

Melvin Ingram's visit was pushed back tomorrow due to problems with travel logistics, according to Jeremy Fowler on Twitter.
Hopefully that's truly the case, but I can understand fans feeling skeptical and that he'll all of a sudden end up signing elsewhere before he even visits here. It's been that kind of offseason. |

People convinced themselves that Mahomes had made us a destination spot...it hasn't.
|
Quote:
All things even (money) the Chiefs are still a “destination spot”. |
Quote:
Money is still the top thing, but Mahomes and Reid are a huge difference maker. Kyle Long wouldn’t have left Vegas and signed here if not for them. The main difference, as Veach has previously mentioned, comes with player retention. It’s the guys who have been there and experienced the culture who are going to be much easier to keep around, perhaps for less money at times. |

Anybody who thought differently is foolish and it’s probably wishful thinking more than anything. But that doesn’t change the fact that the Chiefs are an attractive spot all things even. |
Can someone name the mass amounts of top quality players who went to new england to play with Brady, and went to Green Bay to play with Rodgers, and went to new orleans to play with Brees please? Because apparently folks think the list is endless!!!.
|
Colts? No big moves.
Packers? No big moves. Bucs? Did the same thing we did last year. Chiefs Twitter? Veach ****ing sucks!!! |

Here is my main beef with Chiefs fans right now. Remmers was average or better at RT last year in place of Schwartz. He sucked at LT on the biggest stage, we bring him and back and everyone flies off the handle like Veach came out and publicly said that he’s their starting LT. For weeks after the Super bowl, it’s been nothing but cries of “DRAFT FATTIES!” Now that it looks like they’re going to do just that....it’s nothing but cries of “YOU CAN’T START ROOKIES! WE NEEDED TO FIX THIS IN FREE AGENCY!!!” Make up your ****ing mind. This looks like a deep OT class yet everyone is scared we won’t get one. What the ****? |
Brett "STFD and STFU" Veach.
Brett "Five-year Plan" Veach. |

Another thing is what exactly were we supposed to do differently? It’s not like we cut Fisher and Schwartz simply for cap space. We couldn’t rely on either of those guys either way, and they’ve already draft one of their replacements. It’s not Veach’s fault that Fisher and Schwartz both broke down at the same exact time. He had already prepared to lose 1, was he supposed to have the foresight to know he’d need 2? |

And the Colts GM is notoriously not aggressive. Veach is at least out here trying different things. |

Quote:
He’s trying to give perspective. We have one of the best run organizations from top to bottom and they’re never satisfied. We’re aggressive, but selective. How have they not earned the benefit of the doubt? It’s not just the Packers or Colts. What have the Bills done to put them over the top? The Ravens? Their best move was signing a G, just like us. The little pass rush they had is gone though. The Steelers? They lost Dupree. Huge blow for them. Haven’t done much to get better, if anything. Browns? They added a good safety. That’s about it. Rams? Blew their entire load and future draft capital on Stafford. Saints? Don’t recall them making any big moves at all. |

Shit happens. The key is to be flexible and pivot when said shit does happen.
They swung and missed on a few guys this offseason. That sucks. Offseason isn't over. Keep pivoting. |
I think the Browns have the all around best roster in the NFL.
They have Baker so they're capped, but they're really talented. I like what they've done. |

Giants Jets Patriots I think WFT is having a pretty good offseason too. But all but one of those teams are way behind the elite teams |
Quote:
The Jets have had a pretty good run, true. Of course they still have Sam Darnold at QB, at least for now. |
Quote:
In other words, the first week of free agency isn’t going to make or break us. Our draft and filling out our roster with the second wave will. |
Quote:
In the conference, it’s the Chiefs, Colts, Bills at the top with the Steelers, Ravens and Browns at the 2nd tier. What have those teams done to get better than us? Colts finally have something at QB besides a backup/dead armed old QB. But their pass rush has taken a hit if Houston is gone. Bills still don’t have a good pass rush, like at all. We’re still the favorites |
What the **** have the Patriots done this Offseason that's so praiseworthy?
|
Quote:
They added Smith and Henry and they're going to line up in heavy 12 personnel and destroy people with 2 TE mismatches and running the ball down everybody's throats with RPO and Cam Newton. |
For all us racist KC fans:
After being unable to find a trade involving him, the Steelers have released CB Steven Nelson. |

Broncos strike me as a team that is going to move up for a QB. They were at Lance’s pro day.
This is probably their last year on a loaded defense before Von, Kareem and likely Fuller all leave |
