Stroud got lit up, nice.

Didn't cost them anything

And thar id 'tis.

An INT would have been nice to pad some stats. Very winable game. Perhaps a bit more blitzing by Spags in the 2nd half.

Nice hit on Stroud, give him something nice to think about at halftime.

Pepe Silvia 12-21-2024 01:32 PM

He got nicked up.

RaidersOftheCellar 12-21-2024 01:32 PM

213 yds for Houston. Not ideal.

mschiefs1984 12-21-2024 01:32 PM

Good half get a TD coming out in the 2nd and hopefully it won't be stressful

RINGLEADER 12-21-2024 01:32 PM

Stroud got crushed.

24-10 coming up out of the half.

Only real sore spot in the first half has been on third-down. Lock that down with just a little more pressure and we're fine.

Will take that first half and be happy.

Bearcat 12-21-2024 01:34 PM

What a difference on offense... great rollout plays without any pressure, Mahomes just missing a few times. And a couple times where he just needs to throw the damn ball and not take the sack or hit, but overall the progress we want to see.

A couple phantom calls on the Texans, hate to see it.

Gary Cooper 12-21-2024 01:34 PM

Glad the D-line finally stepped up and got pressure. Makes all the difference in the world.

Good half overall. Houston is a playoff team for a reason. They have offensive weapons. I'm hoping all these injuries for them take a toll as the game continues.

Speaking of, let's hope Worthy isn't a serious injury.

Both sides got a couple of phantom calls and they missed 2 DPI's on our last possession. Still I'll take a 7 pt lead with the ball coming out after half.

He caught it perfectly, but couldn’t drag the left foot. There was good coverage on the play and that was a very difficult throw. Pat threw a dime.

Chiefaholic 12-21-2024 01:36 PM

They have to get Mahomes another second or two in the pocket. Defense is playing solid in spite of the constant holding from the Texans.

To threepeat, they need to score 1 more point than their opponents they face in the post season, not hold them to a certain yardage total.

Texans have been called for two or three penalties I just did not see a thing. On the flip side, I only think the Trey Smith “hold” on the screen earlier was egregious.

It looked like they just started winning their physical battles. Danna and Jones and Karlaftis got pressure through.

The defense had some struggles until the Cleveland game in 2nd halves, regardless of what Spags was doing during that stretch. The turnovers are huge because they swing games. We've forced 8 in the last two games. That wasn't happening before.

Spags is great but if guys are going to lose their individual battles, even he can't slow opponents down. The pass rush needs to win because we don't have great CB play now outside of McDuffie. Plus, Connor is injured and even though he had struggles, that's a further trip down the depth chart for a replacement.

Monticore 12-21-2024 01:42 PM

Need a score here , long drive and run it down their throats , time to crush their hole early.

FloridaMan88 12-21-2024 01:42 PM

Not all no-calls are created equally. Those were two no-calls on the same play that resulted in 6.
