People took notice of the Chiefs defense.

The defense played about as good of a game as you could hope for (0 sacks aside); and gave the offense the ball back plenty of times and often with good field position.

The offense on all fronts (Line, Smiff, WR's) collectively shit down their legs time and time again. It wasn't about execution. It was about a lack of skilled players and their failure to look even average when they really needed to.

This. Dumpster-fire.

This is a great first year rebuild/turnaround.

Why not? All we have to do is make it to the playoffs. Once there anything can happen. This is why teams that are 9-7 can win it all and teams that finish 13-3 do not.

The Denver D isn't near as good as the Chiefs offense is bad.
