Ugly basketball but a win is a win. But hopefully we are just getting into shape for tougher conference games and the tournament.

Where is that guy who likes Florida and claims to be a Chiefs fan? He told me the Heat were trying to trade Chamlers.

One thing you gotta like about Kansas over the past couple seasons is that they can win ugly games where they are just playing like absolute dogshit. It's almost like a lightbulb flashes off at the 2min mark left in the game and they think "oh shit" time to get our shit together and pull this win out of our asses.

I wish Duke and Kansas would play non-con series.
I'd love to watch KU go into Cameron Indoor and wipe the floor w/ Duke. |

That's the game that TT had like 4,327,835,388,323 turnovers and it is my estimation, that's when he started to turn the corner to lead us to a national championship. |

Kansas never plays well at the Maui invitational anyways....been forever since they won the damn thing and they play in it every other year it seems. I just wanna see Duke play at the Phog, and I wanna see KU play at Cameron Indoor...because I can't remember the last time either had occurred. |

How is KU better than Duke? How is Shabazz "completely overrated"? Do you even watch college basketball games outside of KU? |

Average KenPom position of programs over last decade:
KU: 6.1 Duke: 6.5 Wisconsin: 14.7 North Carolina: 15.2 (three #1 ratings over this time, but 2010 season where they missed the tournament and 2013 season holding them back from KU/Duke). Louisville: 16.0 Pittsburgh: 18.4 Florida: 18.5 Kentucky: 18.7 (blame Gillespie, they're 6.7 in four years under Cal) Michigan St.: 19.1 Syracuse: 21.5 Texas: 22.7 UConn: 23.9 Ohio St.: 25.4 (13.7 under Matta) Gonzaga: 30.1 Georgetown: 33.1 Arizona: 34.9 West Virginia: 36.9 KSU: 41.5 UCLA: 44.3 Missouri: 48.6 Indiana: 71.2 I got bored this morning and added this up. It's obviously an inexact way to rate programs considering the changing in coaches over the last decade in many of them (and KenPom's system also seems to overrate Wisconsin consistently due to the way they play), but I think it is a pretty good measure of consistency. Only KU and Duke have been consistently elite over the last decade without any real significant down year. Everybody else is a step behind them. |
