Curious then, what are your expectations for the first overall player picked?

I don't think it's any big news to say te guy has struggled a little this far in camp, but it's camp. As I've said in every post, we will see next week how things go in game settings.

I'm just tired of having to wait on all our first round picks to "develop" when teams all around the league get difference makers that perform early on. I want/hope fisher to be dominant from game 1 on.

Also, I hope I have given a little help to those that want some camp updates, but we are leaving to go back home this afternoon. Something came up and we won't be able to stay the next two days as I had hoped.

Hopefully, someone else will take the batton and offer daily reports.

Have a good one, guys.

To start right out the gate and be effective at his position as a rookie. Do I want him to be AllPro? Hell yea but is that realistic? Doubtful.

I expect the #1 overall pick to have a long productive career in a Chiefs uniform. I would say 10 years at least with a few probowls thrown in.

I also expect hm to play LT at some point and play it well.

Its been stated over and over that Fisher was picked for his upside not his polish. Its not anybody elses fault if you dont get that.

He wasn't the "safe" pick. He is a bit of a gamble.

He is also an OL and its just not glitzy.

Honestly, I guess I'm unrealistic then cause I hope the first overall pik to be better than that.

A few pro bowls? Come on.

I'm expecting a top 5 tackle by year 3. Or more specifically, joe staley 2.0.

My expectations aren't too high.

Just be better than Eric Winston.

If not, ****ing fail.

We aren't far off, you expect top 5 by year 3? OK I agree, keep in mind the top 5 guy at LT or RT doesn't necessarily go to the probowl.

If an offensive lineman is drafted #1 overall he better have a career that is close to HOF worthy.

@bobfescoe: Tyler Bray has looked awesome in camp. Made GREAT throws today. Excited to watch his career in KC. #Chiefs

Fescoe- Bray has consistently been the best QB in camp.

For a 1.1 RT pick I want to see pancakes. I want to see a tenacity & solid feet work that DE get pushed backwards and flattened. Not every play has to be perfect but as the season goes on the guy would get endorsements from IHOP. He isn't going to own every play but he should be good enough to make a difference during a game. That would be my expectations for a 1.1 OL taken in the draft.

My understanding is Fisher's mean streak and competitiveness is one reason Reid wanted him.

At least Tony Mandarich was hot enough of a draft prospect that people noticed when he busted.

I doubt the average NFL fan can remember who was the #1 overall pick in the 2013 draft.

Fisher was a big fish in a pond at college, he now is a little fish in the NFL ocean. His level of confidence is going to determine his tenacity going against much better talent than he faced in college. His downside is that he went to a small school.
