If Mahomes is everything we think he is, the Chiefs will need to trade down in nearly every draft once they’ve paid him. They would need several draft picks to choose as many chance on young cheap talent as possible.

Sherman said McKenzie told him they don’t have the cap space to compete for him.

They won’t be spending much in free agency.

Nah, with the cap going up, prolly not that big of a deal, but that's also why they need to go a little crazy the next couple years and try and win big.

I just hope we extend him right after 2019 if he balls out. The sooner, the cheaper.
