What I've learned from baseball this year is Fernando Tatis is the guy to bring back popularity to baseball.

I still don't think Tatis is out of the woods yet when it comes to injuries.. that lower back herniated disc and his shoulder issues have to make Padres fans at least a little nervous.

Major League Baseball needs both Tatis and Ohtani to stay healthy.

Moving him off SS and to 3B and would help with that, though they have Machado entrenched there.

They do have CJ Abrams coming up like a rocket, too. Not sure his SS defense is good enough to force creativity with Tatis (more likely, Abrams plays CF or 2B).

With Jorge Soler’s injury yesterday , could it mean Olivares is on his way to KC?
