JFC this lawyer is a dumbshit.

He basically said “come sue us” by publicly stating that Rashee intends to compensate the victims for their injuries and property damage.

Less said the better… but this hack clearly looks to be more of a politician/showman than a competent attorney.

It doesn’t matter what his lawyer says. Those people are absolutely going to sue him if they feel they can get anything for the trouble.

And that presser gave me no confidence in his "zealous advocacy."

No, there's really no conflict at all.

He has the same duty of candor to the court than any lawyer, as an officer of the court, will have. And it more than covers any duty to his consistency you may be attempting to invent here.

There are hundreds of practicing state senators defending criminal defendants right this very minute throughout this country.

You've lost the thread.

I'm talking about IMAGE and how after those 2 things, this doesn't look good for the league...which is all Goodell cares about.

I didn't say there was no wrong doing. I'm simply saying that's where the similarities end between these situations.

Regardless, since it's been admitted publicly by his own Lawyer Rashee was street racing, crashed, and left the scene, he's almost assuredly taking the Wheel of Discipline for a spin.

Of course, but suspended half a ****ing season? That would be the most extreme punishment relative to the infraction that we've seen in the NFL.

And this is at a time when the NFL has been a bit lax with this stuff recently.

Cool. Maybe they're sick and tired of these dumb ****ing assholes street racing and causing potentially fatal accidents. Set the precedent going forward.

^this^ was the most likely outcome and I posted it earlier in this thread. He is getting a suspension by the NFL whether he admits to driving or not. It won't be more than 4 games, most likely 2, and game checks are a lot less than the liability he faces. Since he was driving the insurance limits should easily cover all claims as the worst injury was a few stitches in an eyelid.

Will the insurance pay, though? I'm assuming street racing almost has to be on the list of exceptions that would disqualify the policy.

See, we've gone from "yes that would be ridiculous, but it's the NFL" to you rationalizing what would be an absolutely absurd punishment.

Relax drama queen.

So we're still anywhere between a 1 game suspension and the death penalty?

It's the NFL...who knows...no rhyme or reason to how they hand punishment out.

no they will sue the insurance company if they don't settle. The medical side of this is minimal with the worse being a few stitches in an eyelid. I would be surprised if that would lead to much more than $10k pain and suffering. Again, all well under the insurance limits.

Hill got nothing for that whole fiasco with Cristal and his son. Gay got 4 games for giving a vacuum cleaner the business. It's hilarious.
