Given that, I was thinking 2nd and 5th max, but now I'm not sure if I'd do a first, or a 2nd and a 3rd. Getting this guy would just be so huge and its affects would last for a few years.

If Berry comes back at even 75%, we get Thomas, Sorenson comes back, and we stay relatively healthy?

Good luck rest of the league.

This reminds me so much of when we should have traded for Tony G in his last season

It makes so much sense that it will never happen most likely ROFL

If we’re being realistic—the best case scenario for that 1st round pick if the Chiefs keep it is a Chris Jones level player. BEST case.

Best case? There is zero chance of getting a player better than Chris Jones after the mid-first round? Or are you saying that you can get players late in the draft or early in the first round, but never can you get a great player late in the first round?

Dallas sees the writing on the wall. Dak and Garret both need to be replaced. It’s all about going in on a QB next draft.

Jerry Jones isn't the sharpest of cookies so there's that. But you're also right. It just depends on whether Jerry is willing to admit his mistakes and tear it down. I could see him thinking that Earl Thomas is all they need to get over the hump.

I just dont see how Seattle keeps him. That's a team that is an off season away from a rebuild.

Exactly.

Sending him to the Chiefs just makes too much sense, for all parties.

Probably the reason why it won't happen. LOL

Exactly. After that brilliant draft Schnieder has been kind of a dumbass.

Seattle needs blown up for sure.

They're already pretty well blown up. They just need to clean up a few of the leftovers (e.g. Earl Thomas) and start the full-on rebuild.

Depends on the kind of offers they field for him. If they get anything 3rd round or better as an offer, they probably should take it.

I think they can get a late 2nd and that's probably where this whole thing ends up if he's traded.

O.city 09-26-2018 07:28 PM

Hopefully htis

Mother****erJones 09-26-2018 07:29 PM

At this point, I think the best they’ll get is a 2nd. I don’t see this getting done anytime soon. Just my guess because of the compensation standoff. It’s KC who is in the driver’s seat. Dallas isn’t going to trade what they want. Not even sure what they’ve offered

Also, I think with how good this offense is and being an impact safety like Thomas from completing the secondary when Berry is back, makes this team elite. I’d bet Veach will do something. If not Earl, you call Arizona about Patrick Peterson to try and add a top notch corner with Fuller, Nelson and Scandrick, who are playing ok when not grab ass happy. Veach will do something folks

suzzer99 09-26-2018 07:39 PM

Guys - everything said at this point is suspect. Seattle is trying to pretend they are fine with the status quo. Chiefs are trying to pretend they're about as interested as you might be to pick up a nickel off the pavement. Thomas is trying to lower his trade value to add urgency and make it happen.

In summation: everyone just calm the **** down.
