163 ****ing rushing yards from a QB?

The only way the read option lasts is if teams keep drafting good quarterbacks to plug in when one is injured.

Steve Young's advice: "They won't make it in the NFL running for a Super Bowl"

Kaepernick is a future franchise QB. I hope to God we pick the right QB in the draft. For once I'd like a QB we can be proud of.

Well, GB has a problem on their hand...

I think the Seahawks can do it. The Falcons aren't physical enough though..

I'm going to save that quote just in case SF ends up winning it all.

Fixed.

So he has a QB who can throw a great ball and can run like a MoFo... He may be great but I'm sure the guy taking snaps for him is making his life a lot less difficult... what's next, they going to say NE's success doesn't have a lot to do with the QB position?

AussieChiefsFan 01-12-2013 09:58 PM

Nearly got caught from behind then

You might do it once.

But these gimmick offenses aren't going to have sustained success.

I'm actually shocked that people here are rooting for teams like Seattle and SF.

When/if they win, it just gives True Fan dipshits more reason to want to bypass a QB in R1 and try to rely on either a gimmick offense, or an elite defense.

That's the one thing I don't get about the Russell Wilson love. I mean he's done a great job... but he didn't have a single 300 yard game this year. They were like 3rd in rushing and 27th in passing.

Honestly I don't have a problem with whatever works, but it kind of flies in the face of what everyone has said they've wanted for years now.

GloryDayz 01-12-2013 10:01 PM

Wow, could have been six!

Kind of?

It 100% flies in the face of what people have said they want.

People rooting for teams like SF and Seattle have no business bitching if we pass on a QB at 1 overall.

Someone on the GB coaching staff might want to wake up and realize they need to keep Kaepernick in the pocket - he's not going to beat you throwing for a 45% completion rate.

:Spock:
