mcshay is beginning his walk back....pretty soon we'll be hearing about how 'some teams' really love smith and he 'may' go in the top 10...

funny thing is how fast smith consolidated his position at the #1 QB...even people who don't like him now admit he is the clear #1 QB...all that senior bowl nonsense is dust in the wind...even the trolls have left this thread with their tales between their legs

the combine will seal the deal...a lot of twitter scouts will be erasing old posts

But there was also that whole five-game losing streak in the middle of the season. Spavital admits Smith didn't have enough touch on his deep ball as a junior, but said the mid-season struggles in 2012 were a reflection of coaches asking him to do too much more than Smith himself.

So what exactly is that suppose to mean? I wish he would of elaborated more. Blaming his struggles saying they asked him to do to much is not exactly a ringing endorcement. The rest of the article is more of a fluff piece about film study. Hell I have heard the same stuff said about Wilson and Stanzi.

I'm not saying he is cheap, but all the moves Clark made will likely make him more money then if he would have stayed pat with Romeo and *****.
