You think an NFL suspension will?

Oh c'mon. As a retributive justification - sure Roger, do what you will. The NFLPA stupidly gave you plenary authority over this shit so the ball's in your court.

But if your rationale is some sort of general deterrence? Pft - ain't happening. Set the guy on fire on the 50 yard line then feed him to sharks and you're not going to stop this. An entire criminal justice system hasn't - why do you think the Hammer of Roger would?

And your evidence from “the beginning” that Rashee was driving was… what?

Just throwing shit against the wall doesn’t count.

Until his lawyer decided to admit it today… there was no previous publicly disclosed evidence linking Rashee to being one of the drivers.

Come on, several of us on here said he was more likely on camera somewhere and would probably need to admit it for insurance to cover the damages and personal liability a few days ago.

We also are the biggest draw in the league .

Two types of guys in this thread, and I've been both:

Super cool guys / edge lords

Worrier / overthinkers / pearl clutchers

If it was a readily accessible video… like a live stream in the vehicle as was the case with Ja Morant it would have been publicly leaked already.

Deonte Harris got 3 games for this DUI... I'm guessing Rice leaving the scene could be construed similarly. However, Deonte was way the **** impaired at 3 times the legal limit:

https://www.nola.com/sports/saints/s...7e309c8f8.html
After failing field sobriety tests, Harris took a breath test and registered a blood alcohol level of 0.246%, more than three times the legal limit of 0.08%, according to the report.

Quote:

Harris originally received seven citations stemming from the incident — driving under the influence of alcohol, driving while impaired by alcohol, negligent driving, reckless driving, failure to obey traffic control device instructions and exceeding the speed limit. Excluding the alleged DUI, Harris was due to pay $1,000 in fines.

LMAO NFL doesn't actually give a shit about deterring it. I think everyone can agree there. However, this is now the third offseason in a row they've had to deal with this nonsense in the news. Henry Ruggs kind of closed the issue himself with the severity and Jalen Carter wasn't in the league yet, so wouldn't surprise me one bit if Goodell errs on the side of punishing Rice more severely.

OBJ, Boyd… come on down.

In addition to drafting a WR (or WR’s) of course.

He was driving dude, and he was always going to admit it once the injuries were all minor. We knew that on Monday and I and other said on here it makes sense to admit it for insurance reasons. If he was still at the scene and impaired or if someone was seriously injured he wouldn't have admitted it, but there is more than likely a traffic cam or other proof he was driving.

No way they are paying Boyd and OBJ is a brokedick at this point...

Or consider bringing back MVS.

They need a veteran stopgap option who can immediately start if Rice is missing for the start of the season.

MVS should be back regardless, unless he's asking way outside his pay grade.
