That hasn't happened since 2007.

Eric Berry made the Pro Biwl his rookie season. That didn't make you feel warm and fuzzy?

Hopefully, Fisher is just struggling with the position change and will be more comfortable by the time the season gets here.

Hope can be dangerous/some dumbass

Eric Berry got burned a lot as a rookie and has hardly solidified his status relative to his draft position.

The last guy that made me feel awesome as a rookie was Bowe. And that's honestly a low ****ing standard.

Just ONCE I'd like to see this team get some insane ****ing freak of nature ala Randy Moss or Jevon Kearse.

I find that hard to believe. He can't possibly be the first drafted LT starting out on the right side.

I meant #1 overall. Oops.

By the end of his rookie season, Berry's coverage issues were pretty nonexistent.

I want as many freaks of nature like Moss and Kearse on this team as possible. I mean look at all the Super Bowls they brought to the franchises that drafted them.

I think most people felt he should be "awesome out of the gate", myself included.

Of course they are his problem. It's called "pressure".

The guys who drafted him set those expectations.

It's pretty much a given that if a player is selected in the Top Ten of the first round, let alone #1 overall, the expectations are to start and kick ass from Day One.

I don't ****ing care if Fisher turns out to be great in 3 years.

If the justification for passing on other positions, especially QB is that he can hit the ground running, if he dosen't start producing at a hbigh level this season, then it's all bullshit excuses.

Don't give "potential" bullshit.
Give me ****ing results, right ****ing now.

He is going to hit the ground running. His forte is run blocking, he is going to be blocking for a top 3 back in the NFL with a guy who likes to hand the ball off. Hes a mauler. Why are people worried about Eric Fischer before even a pre season snap has been played, much less a regular one?

Just thinking if seeing Charles run behind that line gets me giddy. Hopefully Reid let's him do his thing.

So how are our other draft picks looking? Anyone impressing early?

He's not even the best safety from his own draft class.
