Cracked has a neat article on shows [GoT among them] that have insane details.

http://www.cracked.com/article_21544...y-noticed.html

It's long with a lot of pictures, so go to the site.

Basically, although it looks like Khaleesi's outfit hasn't changed, it has gained [dragon] scales on the tunic from episode to episode, and Sansa's wedding gown is an incredibly detailed tapestry of her story from Tulley to Stark to Lannister.

Have loved to read since age 8, thanks for the tip, I'll look for Eriksen in particular next time I hit the library.

It might be easier to start with his companion writer, Ian Cameron Esselmont, who co-created the Malazan world with him. Knight of Knives is his first book.

It's not a fast read, but it's a really great one. Picture Martin's world but with much more magic (and capricious gods running around being unpredictable and... capricious).

Does anyone read the tales of Fafhrd and the Gray Mouser anymore? I gulped those down like oxygen back in my early teens.

Never heard of it. Will check it out, though.

Ho-lee crap, what an ending for season four...

Tyrion got even like a bauce.

Its been nice seeing Jaime Lannister grow a heart the last few seasons, and I doubt we've seen the last of The Hound.

Khaleesi the "breaker of chains" has become a slave owner in her own right by disciplining her wayward dragons, its all becoming something she cant control.

The skeleton warriors coming out of the snow on Bran and crew at the tree took me closer to my Dungeons and Dragons days than anything else in this entire series... that was sooo badass looking.

Such a great show, each one its own movie quality production.

That is kinda interesting. I really can't think of any "vengance" that is going to take place after what happened last season. Unless they are completely rewriting stuff. Who could they be talking about?

Brienne is chasing Sansa, Sansa is stuck with Littlefinger, Littlefinger is conniving his ass off, the kracken guys are fighting amongst themselves and then for sea domination, Jon is on the Wall letting wildlings through, Aria (sp?) is heading to learn how to be an assassin, Stannis is trying to win the north, Cersi is getting her shit pushed in by the holy septon, Jamie is off winning the Riverlands

Who am I missing and where in there is any revenge?

Edit:
I did forget about the Martells in Dorne. I guess that could be the vengeance they are talking about maybe. But by the end of the fifth book they really haven't gotten any vengeance of any sort. As a matter of fact they think Dany is coming with their son and landing in Westeros already and they are gravely mistaken.

Lady Stoneheart is all I can think of, and it's not like she kills Walder Frey, just a bunch of little guys.

It seems like either there are rewrites, or they will be going into TWOW. If it's the second, it could be Ramsay or Roose.

What about the Tyrells? I'm sure the rose is there for a reason.

I think that would require moving into TWOW, right? Or am I missing some Tyrell vengance?

I was thinking a vengeance on the Tyrells.

Red Brooklyn 09-27-2014 12:34 PM

I'm not sure that's official.

It might be revenge on Cersei by Tyrion, I've read that she's made to strip naked and do a walk of shame in Kings Landing.

Yeah, I've read that too, because I've read the books. You may want to stay out of the spoiler thread if you don't want the entire story to be, you know, spoiled.

Setsuna 10-01-2014 05:26 PM

I'll spoil it right now. Jon is Azor Ahai.
