But.....

Scott City is playing Wichita North. Frankamp stole the ball and dude tries to get in front of him and completely underestimated his quickness. Frankamp went up to dunk, missed and came down on his head. My buddy is there and said there is lots of blood and probably concussed.

Saw reports that he was down for 7 mins before being wheeled off (in an office chair). Didnt return in 2nd half, but shouldnt be serious.

Yeah, I think it was longer than that. At least on the radio. Maybe some of that was cleaning up the blood. I was on the road, so time might be skewed a little.

Gonna be a fun day at work.

80% of my office are KSU grads. That said...could be a long day tomorrow if KU doesn't perform well...

Somebody on phog.net opened a discussion on defensive matchups in the game tonight. One of the possibilities is McLemore being covered by Spradling.

Oh, lordy... I just don't see that going well for the 'Cats.

CoMoChief 01-22-2013 07:19 AM

They're going to double McLemore and force EJ, Withey and Releford take the load.

yeah....i expect Withey to have a monster game.

CoMoChief 01-22-2013 07:30 AM

I wish they'd slide EJ over to the 2 and have Tharpe run the point....problem is Tharpe turns the damn ball over alot.

This team needs a good PG. But they're making due w/ a combo guard that's probably more suited for a 2 role.

It all depends on how many hacks and charges they can get away with. Hopefully McLemore comes out pissed and lights shit on fire. It's a lot easier to get the other guys going if they're chasing McLemore around.
