I'm not actually convinced they want a conventional Ted anymore.

After the Patriots barbecued them in the soft zones so frequently and with 'life after Berry' a reality we'll be facing soon enough, having two linebackers with solid coverage skills can't be a bad thing.

Then again, with Houston out and Ford unable to set an edge, having a guy play a more conventional, gap responsible Ted role might be a nice thing to have out there.

For the near term, I think they'll settle on the regular Ted role but long term I don't think they're married to it.

With our apparent strength at dl, I'm gonna go with 2 ilb that can run cover and make plays, even if they're undersized a little.

March is a bit small for it, but he plays pretty recklessly so it doesn't seem to be an issue.

I'm guessing that Aaron Murray's camp performance has a lot to do with just how serious this injury ends up being.

If Murray keeps dropping dimes, we'll hear about an unexpected 'set back' in short order...

Yep. Murray gets 3rd string. Bray goes to the IR and Hogan goes to the practice squad.
