They should bring NFL Films narrator John Facenda back from the grave to do play by play for Iowa football. Give it that true 1965 feel.

welp, barring Michigan pulling a nebraska........

Chiefspants 12-04-2021 09:54 PM

Iowa had plenty of opportunities. What a choice to play it safe at every possible one.

Iowa LMAO

there are times KF is too conservative.
Keep your friends close and your opponents closer

He is relying on the D, cause he knows the O is so so.

I hope we can keep Goodson. There are a lot of returners. I was not expecting much this year. They exceeded expectations. Except tonight.

Next year will be a good year.

Iowa's coach appears to be a complete and total moron. There certainly seem to be a lot of those in college football.

Hell of a catch

A good friend of ours' son starts for Iowa. We cheer for him.

At the same time, I bet my middle son that Michigan would not only cover, they'd win by 34. I'm dangerously close to being dead-on right now.

I used to think Iowa was the Big 10 version of Snyder's KSU teams in that they were always on the cusp, and had a super impressive legacy for a midwest school - but couldn't get over that last hump. But hell, Bill's teams would at least show up for these games and sometimes win them. It was usually an unexpected, heartbreaking bounce, a surprise upset from an upstart school, or a drunken night from their star QB that would doom Bill.

I would say Michigan ran Iowa off the field but Iowa was more than happy to start running off of it themselves. Just no urgency whatsoever in the first half against a clearly superior opponent.

Michigan throwing up 35-3 in the 4th with 3 minutes left?

Harbaugh just being a dick?
