Someone please provide me a link to a post from a valid member of CP who expected Fisher to kick ass out the gate.

Provide that post or shut the **** up about acting like that was predicted.

You wont find it because it doesn't exist as far as I know. Fact is fisher was a gamble based on potential which has been stated.

To try to change the story now is ****ing stupid.

**** I didn't even want Fisher.

Again I ask who is expecting that?

Strawman arguments being built all over CP.

Keep backtracking TFM.

Don't give a rat's ass where he, or any QB, was drafted.

I argued that if you believed a QB's upside was great, but you thought he needed to sit for a year or 2, you take him anyway.

Don't ****ing tell me to give another position 3 years, when you were telling ne before that we needed that pick to produce right away as your argument against mine.

Double standards, mother****er.

It's pretty much a given that if a player is selected in the Top Ten of the first round, let alone #1 overall, the expectations are to start and kick ass from Day One.

Here is a quote from today Marcellus.

There were many prior to the draft

Show me where a valid member of Cp expects Fisher to take 3 years to develop.

Show me.

I don't know what you're all in a huff about? We did draft a QB who has probably the most upside of the class and we didn't even waste a draft pick on him. And yes, he needs to sit a year or two.

Ok so that post set the standard?

I feel like I am caught in the middle as usual.

Dude shouldn't be expected to be All Pro day 1 but I dont expect he will take 3 years to mature.

He should be a solid starter day 1 and mature into an above average player at a MINIMUM.

Sick of the bullshitg.

And Tyler Bray?
UDFA.

I am not putting hope in a ****ing miracle.

petegz28 08-04-2013 07:02 PM

I expect, as most people do I am sure, that Fisher is going to have some really good plays and some really, really bad plays this year. I don't think he will take 3 years to become "good" but I don't expect anyone outside of a rushback, HB, or WR to make a significant impact in year 1.

He wasn't undrafted because of his lack of talent. Not that I am aware of anyway.
