I made this statement last year sometime. He has a tendency to take a big arc to get to the QB without engaging the OL. It adds another 1-2 seconds on every rush, losing time, efficiency and stamina/energy.

If he learns the Derrick Thomas move, he could finally be what we expected when we drafted him.

And we left 4 points off the board and gifted them an easy 3 on top of that.

Reid stuck with the run today and it worked. Good for him, good for us.

Got rid of most of the sideways cuteness stuff although Reid did revert to it a bit more in the 2nd half (see shit play all to Poe for TD). Hope Reid learned a lesson about running th effing ball and abandoning sideways BS.

Good win today. I had this one as a loss. I had Houston as a win and Pittsburgh as a loss so I had us 3-2 at this point. Looks like we are right on track.

Dee Ford showed up with a couple of sacks including a sack strip that ended up sealing the game.

But Alex only had 214 passing. He is the sole reason KC lost!

That's ****ing sad.

Go through his posts in the GDT. He's purposefully trying to bait with dumbshit comments. Just ignore him.

Yup, he needs to cut down a lot on those plays. They're BS and rarely go for more than a couple of yards.

I think the most impressive part of the game is how well the defense stopped that high powered Oakland offense in the second half despite being without Gaines for the entire half and without Peters for a good chunk of time as well. I thought for sure that Carr would be able to exploit that.

Red Dawg 10-16-2016 05:03 PM

Alex can be tolerated when the team runs well and he takes a few shots. Today we scored so he did his job. Against teams that can stop the run he sucks. The man was good today because the ground game made him better.

Can't complain about a road win against a AFC west foe. That was a fast game too

And only 4 penalties! That has to be a Chiefs-Raiders record

I couldn't figure out what the hell they were doing in the second half. They really never tried to exploit us in the secondary. Really strange. :hmmm:
