Because even after holding out through TC and 1 game, when he came back he still balled out and showing he has character and integrity for the game. He is the type of player that feels guilty when his motor is not going on every down regardless of how bad a situation might be. Meaning he will never call in sick in order to take a mental health day if you get my drift. He has awesome work ethic and has showed this in every one of his games. Just my perspective.

This might have already been covered, but listening to the Terez/KC Star Emergency Podcast...

Terez had been asking league executives this week about potential compensation should Peters be dealt.

Best response? 3rd and a player. And some guys said they wouldn't even do that.

There are a number of people who think we can trade Bailey for a 4th rounder.

Then we trade Peters and since we don't know what we got we assume its for a 4th and 7th rounder. And its probably worse than that because otherwise we would know by now....

Peters was underperforming in the early part of 2017. Peters would have been heckled in Philly, both for underperformance and for his protest.

I watched Foles’s first drive as an Eagle. He was s rookie...first drive ever...they did not score on that first drive. I shit you not...the Eagles fans booed him...first drive ever as a rookie in the NFL.
