Waino on the road against the Dodgers, full confidence?

I’d go with Mikolas/Hudson on the road. Save Waino and his one start for Bush.

I would take whatever pitching stats there are from this series with a grain of salt. Prior to this game there was a combined .187 BA with RISP in this series.

Mikolas has been shaky at best for 2 months and Wainwright was chased out of his last regular season game against the Cubs backups.

I have more confidence in those 2 than I do Hudson currently. Wainwright scared the shit out of me on the road, though.

I really wish Gant was on the roster right now for mop up duty.

Good question but I think the playoff intensity would make up for Waino being on the road.

If they use Mikolas for today, I’d expect the rotation to be as follows:

Wainwright
Hudson
Flaherty
Mikolas

Okay that’s it, get him out of there. 4 innings left. Miller and Martinez can only give up 5-6 runs.

I agree with it is time to pull Flaherty but now come on we have seen those guys pitch.

You are long past the point of no return in him pitching in 1 of the first 2 games of the NLCS so might as well pitch him til he's done. He's off til Monday. Might be needing your bullpen before then.

They need to save Hudson for a home start. Probably should be Mikolas, Waino, then Flaherty.
