That is true. Just needs to be better in pass coverage.

There's no reason to pay Succop six times replacement level salary when that's exactly what he is.

Succop is accurate 45+ but it seems like the close field goals he cant hit.

Nobody mentions Brad Jones, possibly the best FA ILB on the market?

Played for the Packers under John Dorsey?

I had forgotten all about old B-rad.

Yeah, bring him on down.

Direckshun 03-07-2013 09:14 PM

I think Jason Jones of the Seahawks should be on our radar, too, as a DE.

He was very effective rushing up the guy of the OL in the Seahawks 4-3 until his injury.

He'd come relatively cheap, and start for us. Offer more of a passrush than Dorsey did.

I did highlight him in that list of FA thing the other day IIRC

This is more then i thought. Cutting Cassel we looking at around 22m

O.city 03-10-2013 04:22 PM

Damn, they may be looking at a big free agency splash then, if they infact think they can win now.

Mother****erJones 03-10-2013 04:31 PM

Sean Smith come on down!

O.city 03-10-2013 04:32 PM

If we are going to overpay for something, I'd rather it be a legit RT than an overrated CB.

Overthecap does not list Alex Smith as a Chiefs salary yet on their page. That's 8.5 mill. Cassell is around 5.9 so that's 2.6.

I think we are looking at around 14.2 after those transactions happen. With Robinson, and this is a guess on my part, around 1.5 million so 12.7.

Lots of space to do damage.
