Holy shit......that is simply awful.

This is what happens when fat people have no lungs to sing anymore, apparently.

I had tickets to see them this past July (with Def Leppard, Joan Jett, etc.), but cancelled due to COVID.....

Maybe that was a good thing!!??

No, because Def Leppard would absolutely kill and the rest of the Crue would as well.

Haven't read the thread, but wouldn't be surprised if David Lee Roth has been mentioned. I was/am a huge Van Halen fan, but never got to see them live before Dave left. I also liked Van "Hagar" a lot, but not nearly as much, and did see that version live a few times.

So I was pretty excited when Sammy and Dave announced a joint tour in 2002. No Eddie, but I'd still be seeing Dave doing "his" songs. Sammy came out first, and put on a great show. Then Dave--still had the VH look, but he spoke/sang the songs, and the swagger I had seen in the old concert clips and videos was replaced by some sort of Las Vegas lounge singer schtick. It was just...weird. Huge let down. The guitar player did a pretty good EVH impression though.

Saw him again a couple times when VH reunited (minus Michael Anthony), but by then I knew what to expect. Short hair now, same "Las Vegas lounge" type moves, not much of a voice.

Before/right as covid hit, I noticed he was doing a solo "residency" in Vegas and opening for KISS.

I wouldn't say I regret it, but KISS was also kind of a let down when I saw them. Aerosmith and KISS toured together about 2004 or so...I was going for Aerosmith, but KISS was a huge bonus I was looking forward to seeing live. Sure, explosions and stuff are always cool, but it just seemed kind of corny overall. It was supposed to be a "co-headlining" tour, but KISS always opened, and it did seem like their stage area was a lot smaller than Aerosmith's. Maybe they were too cramped to put on their regular show.

Same here, but what had me excited is everyone in the Crue were working with personal trainers to be in the best shape possible for this tour

Vince was training with Diamond Dallas Page, and reportedly had dropped a ton of weight long before the tour was even supposed to kick off... I’m thinking we missed a helluva show
