K-State has just as many question marks as any other team in the North. Automatically annointing them a contender is a bit homerish. Missouri you already mentioned - Pinkel. And Nebraska won't recover like you think. That excellent DC they brought in from Wisconsin took basically the same personnel and made a top 10 defense into a bottom 10 defense. Nebraska may finish LAST. |

CU IMO has the best chance to repeat. They return most of their starters on offense, and just about all of them on defense. Nebraska is up in the air, but they are bringin in alot of JUCO talent that may fill their needs quickly. Kansas State has done the same thing. |

Meanwhile, back to the NFL.......
Seneca Wallace has been promoted to the #2 QB position for the Seahawks following the departure of Trent Dilfer. He is also fielding punt and kicks in practice. |

ISU could finish 6-5 this year and still have a chance to win the North. |

And if your only reason for saying they will suck is because they have been sh*tty for a long time, that's not much of a arguement. It's not like crappy schools don't occasionally get lucky and field good teams. I'm not saying ISU is neccessarily going to be good. They are just going to better than the rest of the crap in that division. Besides, picking KSU to be good this year just shows what a sad homer you are. I don't know why the fuck I'm sticking up for the Cyclowns. Iowa will snap them in half in mid October, leaving a pile of bones for the pathetic north to display their crapiness against. |

Oh yeah, that's right. The "perenially crappy team" argument is a LOAD OF CRAP. Quote:

Posted TODAY at 11:13am by htismaqe If it's that tempting, put your money where your mouth is. Name 2 teams in the North that have, definitively, less questions than Iowa State. I see Colorado. Who's the other? |
