#1 pick. You would love that. Is it time to start losing for draft position yet.

We'll have to win two games to draft behind the Browns, so we've got that going for us.

I remember when everyone picked us to beat Cincy before the year...

And oh yea that Carson Palmer guy sucks, Thigpen is better. /Hootie

I think they started that week 1.

I'm watching the highlights from today's game and I didn't know the NFL hired clairvoyant officials.

Anyone see that flag for taunting?

Besides, Pats were 2-2 and lost to the Steve Spurrier freaking Redskins in 2003 before sweeping the rest of the season.

Or are you in the habit of declaring the season over after 5 games?

Yeah, but the difference between you and me -- I believe this is about all 32 NFL teams not one team in particular.

A 32 year old coach beating his teacher hmmmm.... Lets not get excited about it. I have seen tons of coaches through the years get extremely excited. I dont blame him at all for celebrating like he won a Super Bowl ring, this win was ****ing huge for a rookie coach. To bad our coach doesnt know what a win feels like.

27 loses in 29 games. Great being a Chiefs fan. I wonder if thats some kind of NFL record.

But, most HCs aren't, what?, 32...

That mother****er made a victory lap.

Good for him.

He just beat his mentor.

On that Meriweather taunting call, btw, he got fined $7,500 by the NFL.

While I thought it was a borderline call, I could see why they called it, though some here were outraged. Apparenlty the NFL was more than in agreement with the refs. Gotta say I disagree with the fine. It wasn't THAT egregious.

"Meriweather was fined $7,500 for unnecessarily taunting an opponent. Meriweather was flagged for unsportsmanlike conduct after he was ruled to have taunted Broncos receiver Eddie Royal following a fourth-quarter incompletion."

Posters here and elsewhere were hot because the ref tossed his flag before Meriweather did his gesturing. I would say M. must have said the magic words.

The flag in the picture was thrown for pass interference. If you listened to Dave Logan call the game, he mentions another flag being thrown afterwards. You can actually hear it by watching the highlights at nfl.com.
