Ya know, if we find a way to draft Golden Tate and sign Chambers we could have a pretty good receiving corps.
Sign Thomas Jones to shoulder part of the load of our running attack and we could have some great pieces for Weis to work with if he can get Cassel to be a quarterback. It would be all up to him from that point. No excuses. Bowe, Chambers Tate Charles Jones Cottam/Pope Get us Berry, a couple backers and nose guard and lets go baby! (this is assuming we are definitely not taking Clausen) |

Why the **** would signing those guys make you feel either optimistic or happy? Content, I could understand, but JFC, it's palliative therapy at best. |

There's someone who has posted in this thread that is notorious for ****ing up and then deleting. You can probably figure it out. |

His first game with the team was a road game at Jacksonville. Please stop. NFL.com gives him credit for that start and the following week in Oakland. |

Seriously I'd be happier if the Chiefs gave 50 mill to Dansby than signed a bunch of Chambers and Jones'.

*But kudos, I agree with you on your take to fill that position through the mid rounds of the draft. Wouldn't complain if they signed Jones though, good solid veteran player. I like him, but I hope he can come at the right price and take on the right role. But yeah Im with you, Id rather see them go the route of the draft. |

The problem is the Chiefs don't seem to realize when you have the lowest payroll in the entire ****ing league you should be a player for the good FA's not the shit barrel guys.

No definitive #1 WR, also rans/unproven at TE, one definitive playmaker at RB. If Dwayne Bowe doesn't turn into a 1200-1400 yard a year guy this year, he probably never will, and as such, can never be considered more than a really good #2 WR. |
