How do you not understand this logic?

Of course, if you have already admitted defeat and consider this year a wash when you are only 1 game out with a win against the 1st place team...

I think it's too early but that is a moot point now because you have to start another QB

Yet when some of us ask for a stud tackle or guard high in the draft we get bombarded with "you don't know anything, good o-linemen can be picked in the late rounds of any draft."

I seriously doubt Cassel is done, The Chiefs have alot of money invested in him and will not pull him barring an injury unless he really stinks the place up and I don't think he is a great QB but he can manage a game and do just enough to keep his job.

-This is a mirage 4-5. In a month it will most likely be 4-9.

- Isn't Cassel's contract structured that by now his release, etc., won't be too costly?

- Your estimation of Cassel as a game manager is not incorrect. But a game manager, IMO, should be the characteristic of the 2nd QB on a team. The starting QB should be a "Game CHANGER." In today's NFL you won't do much without one.
