I give Mo a ton of credit. Even more for the whole Pujols thing.

In the end it was about the Cardinals. Pujols wanted it to be about him. The Cardinals are bigger than one player.

I think this team has a bit of a chip on it's shoulder. Everyone counted them out because they lost Pujols.

Ramirez to protect Bugeyes? No way.

Every year is our time.

Young kids are hungry to hit today.

Not sure about throwing Motte here. Guess he wanted to get him some work.

O.city 04-08-2012 03:24 PM

He hadn't pitched since Miami, probably just to give him some work.

See, I just don't agree. A lineup of Weeks, Hart, Braun & Ramirez can still score a lot of runs. A lot does depend Gamel's development, but their rotation & bullpen are good enough to win a lot of low scoring games. I think they're better than the Reds.

That said, I think the Cards are better.

Ramirez is a shell of his old self. I like Weeks, but Hart is hit and miss.

I just don't see that as a lineup that is gonna produce alot of runs.

O.city 04-09-2012 05:49 PM

Well, we put up 4 in the first tonight.

Westbrook struggling to throw strikes.

DJ's left nut 04-09-2012 06:22 PM

!@#$ers can hit, can't they?

Just an incredibly deep lineup.

Talking about the first inning?

O.city 04-09-2012 06:27 PM

Whats crazy is that potentially one of our better pure hitters is on the DL right now. Gonna be a fun year.

Marcellus 04-09-2012 06:36 PM

That was an incredibly stupid throw to 1st by Westbrook.
