Look, I understand and support your decision to cancel your season tickets. I would never in a million years tell someone how to spend their money

I mean, if he was spending his money on ugly hookers or really cheap alcohol, I'd probably tell him how to spend his money.

It would be for his own benefit though. :)

That's the myth of Alex Smith.

The 49ers ran for 200 yards in that game.

And even with the 49ers good line in 2011, he was sacked 44 times. He has a lot of Cassel-like characteristics.

In his defense, the 9ers aren't a pass first pass happy team. Even with Kaep, they are a physical grind it out type offense, that with kaep got a really dynamic guy.

Pretty much the 90's Chiefs with better athletes on offense.

Michael Crabtree was almost twice as productive with Colin Kaepernick.

He's a huge hindrance to WRs.

Not everyone can be Steve Young or Joe Montana.

That doesn't mean that he can't be an average or above average QB, which is something the Chiefs haven't had really since 2005.

Exactly.

WITH Harbaugh and a SB-caliber surrounding cast, he averaged 200 yards per game. Thank God for the Buffalo game, or his numbers would be even more dismal.

25% of his starts last year resulted in under 150 yards passing.

Only one game over 240 yards.

Brutal.

Cassel-like.

We are ****ed.

Damn you and your logic/sense.

And Crabtree was a lazy suckass for the 3.5 years prior.

It's clearly obvious that you didn't watch any of their games. Stats do not tell the whole story.

Regardless, anyone on the planet that argued that Alex Smith is more talented than Colin Kaepernick would be a fool.

Kaepernick is, right now, a very special player.

He was on pace for 3500 yards 26 td and 10 int, if you wouldn't take that stat line on your team because its not enough yards you're a moron.

That's exactly what he is.

That's why a lot of people here already hate his guts.

We gave up two 2nd-round picks for a guy who can't even throw the ball down the field.

Exciting!

LMAO

OK.

I suppose it was just coincidence Crabtree had 880 yards in 10 games with Kaepernick.

49ers fans will back all this up, BTW.

You know another guy who didn't throw the ball down the field a lot, Joe Montana.

Hammock Parties 03-13-2013 07:46 PM

I mean there are tons of 49ers fans acting like they just got rid of their own Cassel, so think about that for a moment.

Embarrassing acquisition, and the disappointment over it is legitimate.

Holy shit, we're calling Alex Smith montana now. LMAO

Yes difference is Smith has a stronger arm than Montana and probably more mobility.
