So the Rumor is that the Dolphins might trade a 2nd rounder for Albert. I wonder if they decreases the chances of the Chiefs trading down. They might want to just pick the guy they want.

Then, move down to a team that wants Geno and take a left tackle.

The best would be moving back to 2 so Jacksonville can take Geno and are willing to move next years first to get him...then, flipping the 2 slot with Detroit so they can select the OT they have fallen in love with and we get one of the three LTs. Maybe we take a 2 from the Lions and a pick next year for moving to 5.

That's asking for too much, I understand that, but we simply can't stay at 1 and take a LT.

I would love it if this happened.

So he allowed more than one sack last year?

It's disingenuous to use that metric when the man didn't start and play in all 16 games.

If a player allows 1 sack in 12 starts its a pretty safe ****ing bet to think he allows 1 in 16 games.

First off, Albert only started 11 games and he did not complete all of those games.

It's complete speculation to state that he wouldn't have given up a sack in five other contests.

Pass blocking efficiency is a better measure, anyway.

2011 - 5th

2012 - 7th

Both years he was at 96.5%.

League leader was 97.5 and 97.9.

This is a valuable player.

ROFL @ the idea of the Jaguars giving up next years first just to trade up one spot. That's ****ing dumb.

That could be the Clowney pick.

Ok then that makes 2 sacks given up. Still elite.

Albert over his career averages 1 more sack allowed per year than Joe Thomas and 0.8 more penalties a year.

But no, hes not a good player.

Who know who ELSE gave up 5 sacks that year whom idiots have a hard-on for here? Jake Long.

If you only give up 5 sacks in a year as a LT, you've done a fine job.

More speculation.

And no one said he wasn't elite.

The Chiefs dump Albert and pick Joeckel.

Find one decision ***** made that was worse.

In my opinion, with the benefit of hindsight, hiring Romeo was worse, but I get what you're saying and it's not a ludicrous opinion.
