As in "riding a train" subforum, or "pulling a train" subforum? Because there is a very distinct difference to be made there.

Well, (a) I never cared before, and (b) that feature doesn't exactly leap out at you. It's not like the board comes with an owner's manual. I've also been out of the game for three years - I am a bit rusty.

I didn't think they were popular enough to warrant that, but I'll admit that this song is catchy.

The thing is, I really didn't enjoy it - it's like I was a soldier fighting in the trenches every day and I just did it to do it. Why? What's the point in bickering with the same people day in and day out who seemingly take opposite positions on everything just to do it? Sounds like the definition of insanity to me. I've often said that if I had an Indian name, it would be Argues With Idiots. But what does that say about me? I don't give a shit what they think, and they don't give a shit what I think, so why bother? Plus, at the end of the day, the election is over, my guy won, I'm happy, and I neither feel the need to gloat or relive the constant conflict. If I want to discuss politics now I do in Facebook groups with like-minded people, and I ignore or simply unfollow my handful of liberal friends/relatives who are seemingly becoming even more unhinged now than they were before. I'll occasionally lock horns with somebody, but occasionally is enough - not every goddamn day. Don't need it, don't want it.

I'm in a better place now, and I'd like to stay there.

Well damn. I was hoping that I'd convince you. Over the years, I've had my epiphany about politics/religion on this forum. I've certainly said my fair share of shit, and hadn't a fair amount flung back. But, I don't take any of it to heart. It's just words. Life's too short.

Wish I had learned that in Catholic school.

OK. Thank you.

I'm a bit of an idiot so bear that in mind.

Also Fraz, I'm glad you're back. Three years? Has it really been that long? Goddamm. Time flies.

You ever see the training video of Lou albano and fabulous moolah before wrestle mania one? It had her eating a sub sandwich with albano stating "I have moolah on a high fat low protein diet" lmao that was some funny shit.

Wow really? 3 years? Holy shit. On a positive note we're approaching the one year anniversary of kc native being gone. All hail Bearcat for that!

I'm sure I'll eventually pop in. I just don't want to let it consume me again.

How about a "Thread Of The Year" contest?

LiveSteam 01-29-2017 04:52 PM

What contest. That award winner comes straight out of DC & goes to Billay for his ( Is Trump Done Yet) thread

Craash 01-29-2017 05:03 PM

I've been here along time. I lurk - ALOT. I enjoy the banter as much as the next person and I'm positive I can see early breaking news as fast here as anywhere. I enjoy the flame wars too - most of the time. I don't post a lot, simply because it opens you up for God knows what. We have the lounge, we have DC. What about an ON TOPIC Chiefs (or otherwise?) subforum that you aren't concerned about leaving open in work? Where people can disagree - but you aren't called a no good mo****F***** who f***s grown *** in the *** while g****** sp*** in the sho***? I'll know I'll get grief over this - which proves my point. Disagree if you want, but you don't have to tell me to f******* sho*** a tr** in my ****. Just saying.
