Darrel Williams was out so it was him or the Sausage.

Williams was out. There wasn't really another choice. Thompson played well yesterday.

Wonder how long Darrel W. will be out and if he's out for a bit if they'll bring up Washington, sign someone, or just stick with Clyde, Darwin, and Sherman.

I was *shocked* we went to him, especially in the situations we went to him.

Reid is trusting guys to step up, and they are rewarding him.

Thompson had a nice little carry. A good 7-8 yarder because he's got a little giddyup. Didn't require that much vision or awareness of blocks, so he did okay.

Like I said... he's not that great. But I do think he's good enough to hang out at the back end of the roster and get a few carries when needed.

Now, if we start depending on him? That may be a problem...

Darwin had at least two hero tackles on special teams that I counted as well.

Stopped a potential TD return on the right sideline. Or was that him? I know there's another Thompson with #24.
