With the Kaindoh injury, Jones's wrist issue and the Willie Gay stuff emerging today one has to wonder how long Veach waits to make a move or two? Because sooner or later he may have no choice.

His move was already made. He cut Tim Ward and we're feeling the consequences of that. Veach is tremendous but he does hang a slider on occasion.

The only saving grace here is the offense is pretty locked up so apart from sorting out a contract with Orlando Brown (or finding another left tackle), Veach can over-react/blow up the defense in the offseason.

Re-sign Matthieu

Cut Clark and Hitchens

Add a big name free agent (Chandler Jones?), draft a 1st round DT, 2nd round corner etc etc.

Believe it or not guys, we haven't even played a quarter of the season. Let's just beat the Bills tomorrow night and have patience. Every year there is first half and second half teams. Let's hope the light comes on when it matters most for this defense.

The practice squad QB in Philadelphia looks like a practice squad QB again today. 51% passer rating 79 yards and an INT. Seriously Mahomes and the offense probably need 55 to win tonight.
