i do wonder if his twitter antics and callign ouyt the fans had something to do with it. . the way he uses twitter he would fit in perfectly on this site. .it was a bit exhausting watching his tweets. . |

Like, you could find footage of him getting burned and actually being a liability in coverage and I would maybe agree with you, but instead your argument is he got stuffed on a trick play so he actually sucks? |

this and Juju are really good signings.
What we are seeing here on CP is a bunch of posters that had their favorites targeted for FA and when Veach signed someone else, they're throwing little hissy-fits. It's silly and childish. We're better today than we were a few days ago. We'll need a couple of decent DE's. Maybe a RT. Then the draft is wide open. This draft, too, is deep in our exact positions of need. Everything this fine. |

To me what is strange are the Chark fans. He's Chris Conley. Which is nice but... |

There are some posters here who just feed off of negativity. They’re never here when things are great, only when they’re bad (or perceived that way). |

In the current NFL, a boundary corner isn't allowed to do much of anything at all except run alongside a receiver. Any contact at all can be called as interference at any time. SO-why pay big money for a boundary corner? It's true that Ward is a pretty good player. It's also true that Chase roasted him alive despite Ward having pretty good position nearly all game long. So why do you pay that position big money for results like that? Better to put your resources on the defensive line to improve your pass rush, and pay your inside secondary players that have versatile skillsets. Rush the passer well, and confuse the passer with different pre-snap looks. That's the only way the NFL will allow you to play defense these days. And before you say- "yeah well, Chase is elite"-we now look at Davante Adams twice a year, and Mike Williams, will see Diggs and Chase and co. in the play-offs, and so on, and so on, and so on. If you can't keep those guys from the ball, how about you focus on harassing and confusing the QB's into making mistakes instead? |
