But with Burns at $16.5 million - you've now added roughly $35 million to next year's cap and STILL don't have your LT (or RT for that matter).

Too Maddeny, IMO.

I think Moore is eminently doable. I think Burns is far less so. Especially when there are teams who DON'T have the amount of talent we have who wouldn't think twice about paying him at/near the Joey Bosa deal.

His market will be extremely robust and he knows it.

Maybe Veach extends Burns after the trade and lowers that 2023 cap hit.

Extend Gay, Thornhill, Saunders and Sneed
Sign a good pass rusher in FA
Trade up for pass rusher in the 1st rd

Draft WR in 2nd Rd and DB’s, OL, another developmental pass rusher and a blocking TE in mid/later rds

Probably unpopular, but I don't think Gay is a second contract guy here. Yes, he's very talented, but unless it's a bit discounted, I don't see it happening.

If hes flying around like he did early, i dont see how you let him walk. His speed at that level can unlock a lot for a D.
