Ask yourself this - who has a better feel of what's going on out there than Patrick Mahomes? Who, anywhere in the world, has a better angle to see if Taylor is lining up correctly? And who's more prone to post-game nothingburger coach speak than Mahomes?

If Mahomes is coming out of that game and saying "Man, this is wild..." then yeah, it's a ****ing problem.

Why is the NFL too stupid to take out any kind of judgement things out of the rule book. Why is it lined up with the centers waist line and not the tackle can line up one yard behind the line of scrimmage.

Jawaan seems to follow your philosophy and I think that’s the major issue- he took it too far. He was rocking back and forth, getting early starts AND lining up illegally. Dude was pushing it to the absolute limit on multiple fronts. Unfortunately he did all of that in a huge week 1 matchup in front of a huge audience and now they’ve probably decided to make an example of him.
