Thats a definite and welcome upgrade, but I still prefer stuffing once or twice a year... but you do you, there are no wrong answers in this thread

I like stuffing more honestly.

Hopefully nobody's turkey ends up like this.

Turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes with gravy.

One a side note. If you're looking for one more dish to fill out that feast you have planned. This is super simple to make and tastes really good.

Cream Corn Recipe

8 ears of corn (Frozen corn will also work if ears unavailable.)
2 red bell peppers diced
2 jalapeņos diced
1 cup of heavy cream
Kosher salt and freshly ground pepper
1 stick salted butter, cut into pieces

1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees slice the corn off cob in large deep bowl. Turn knife dull side down and scrape the cob to remove all the bits of kernel and the creamy milk.

2. Add the red bell peppers, jalapeņos, heavy cream, 2 teaspoons salt, a generous amount of pepper and the butter, mix well. Pour into a 9 by 13" baking dish. Bake until hot and bubbly, 45 to 55 minutes.

Mashed potatoes
Green bean casserole
Pumpkin pie

I always throw a dollop of stuffing on top of my mashed potatoes. Sometimes I mix the green bean casserole in there as well. Though we don't do green bean casserole anymore, since my nephew suddenly decided a couple three years ago that he didn't like them anymore.

And I only like stuffing that's cooked in the bird. The stuffing straight from a pan/pot is pretty tasteless.

Explain yourselves, beet lovers. Do you also enjoy a nicely prepared bowl of dirt?

Beets taste exactly like dirt. Do they eat dirt on the planet you beet-loving aliens come from? Is that what you're weened on there?

They're better if you wash and peel them first op

Well it's a good thing he doesn't like AIDS...

I wonder if beets tasting like dirt is like how some people think cilantro tastes like soap

They're earthy but they don't taste bad to me and cilantro has a slight bitter and astringent taste but just enough to be good but I'm not like a super taster

Pepe Silvia 11-27-2024 11:24 PM

I just put my turkey in. I'm cooking it overnight low and slow.
