The Bengals played basically a perfect game their last game. Everything from defense to offense to preparation to in game coaching. Combine that with an opponent who had been trying to lose for weeks and that was result. There is zero chance they play even close to that good again. They are about to get blown out.

But you don't think that there's a game or two every season where Pat turns it up a notch because of some real/imagined slight? because I do. Take just this season: TB, SF, and to a lesser extent, LAR. In all of those games he seemed to be playing at yet another level, God-mode, if you will. In both the TB and the SF games Pat was nearly perfect until late in those games, when the results were already decided.

I think Mahomes is going to have that paramount level of focus and execution, above and beyond what passes for 'great' already for him, and 'scorched Earth' will seem like an understatement.

Oh, Petty Patrick is a real thing. I can't wait for him to light up a big, fat cuban at the post-game press conference.

The Bengals will be playing with their patchwork offensive line again this week. There's no reason not to unleash the hounds and totally wreck Burrow's day! If we can't get to him this week then we never will.

Not gonna get my hopes up too much. They’ve been really good about getting the ball out lightning quick. But I do think our DL will play better than we’ve seen. As long as they have three WR1s they can get away with it. But someday very soon that time will not come. Gonna bank on our D to do their job instead of getting too caught up in this being a mismatch.

One thing we overlook about the short passing game is the kind of precision it requires.

It's great if your guys are on point. Damn near indefensible, in fact.

But man it requires a lot of sustained excellence. A single ball that hits a guy in the hands and flutters up into the air can go the other way for 6.

Cincy simply hasn't made many mistakes in 3 games against us. And maybe they won't again on Sunday. But it's asking an incredible amount for them to play another seemingly perfect football game offensively. And that's whats gonna be required for them to walk out of Arrowhead with a W on Sunday.

Man for man they suck, but you have to think their communication and cohesiveness will be exposed in this environment.

Burrow got bukkaked in the first few games of the season and everyone chalked it up to the line not gel-ing yet.

Have to think this group’s inexperience as a unit will show at some point.

That’s my hope. I feel like they’re due for a flat game. They’ve had an edge for so long because people counted them out. Did they blow their wad celebrating the win against the bills? Will they let this overwhelming hype train get to their head? Are they a little loose in prep for this week? I don’t think they come out flat but even tiny lapses of focus can make a big difference.
