You know what other team won their division? The 7-9 Seahawks. Congrats on being 8-8 in a shitty division.

That was a fluke of all fluke seasons and you know it.

True. I wonder whether the same might be said about the season the Chiefs are cobbling together this year.

It's certainly magical, but not close to a fluke.

Even when we were "getting lucky" playing back ups, we were playing very capable back ups. It would be a tough argument to make that Jason Campbell, Case Keenum and Ryan Fitzpatrick over Brandon Weeden, Matt Schaub and Jake Locker is getting that lucky..

We've beaten up on bad teams, as good teams are supposed to do. We have one fluke loss against the Chargers and two extremely competitive losses to a top 5 team in the Broncos.

I mean, there's a chance we're not as good as our record indicates, but you don't just rattle off 9 straight wins in this league. That's pretty damn hard to do.

That 2011 Broncos season though? Holy hell, that had fluke bs written all over it. So many games lucking it up and falling ass backwards into a win. It was a sight to see, that's for sure.

"The Broncos lost two more starters when middle linebacker Wesley Woodyard and strong safety Duke Ihenacho were benched for Paris Lenon and Omar Bolden, respectively.

Woodyard was arguably the NFL's finest coverage linebacker in 2012. His play has fallen off this season after suffering a stinger injury in Week 5. The coaching staff has told him to brace for a decreased role, so he can regain pre-injury form for the postseason, Woodyard said Monday on KDSP-FM.

Ihenacho was an early-season breakout performer as a first-time starter, but he's struggled in coverage of late."

I'm not disagreeing with your stance towards the guy, but regarding the starters on offense... I'm not sure I would disagree. Charles in my view would be the only guy I'd replace when I look at the offensive starters for the two teams.

Then name the KC offensive player other than Charles that would start for Denver.

It cannot be done...

Let's be honest, Peyton makes that offensive line look quite a bit better than it actually is. Not that ours are world beaters, but I'm sure you could interchange a few and not see much of a difference. Other than that, I agree. As far as skill positions and QB goes, only Jamaal would start for you guys.

... But flip sides. How many of your defenders would start for us? Ignoring scheme differences. Von Miller and DRC maybe? Von Miller would be fighting with another all-star so that's not even a given.

Woodyard or Trevathan would start over Jordan (if he's technically a starter), and Malik would beat Tyson in the Jackson battle. Von would absolutely start, it's just a question of where. DRC would be starting as well.
