An example of dinner for me would be one of the following, which I probably eat two to three times per week.
meal 1:
Grilled zucchini, yellow squash, onion, brussel sprouts, grape tomatoes, broccoli, and some asparagus pieces. I make a "dressing" of olive oil (very little), lemon juice, fresh grated garlic, salt and pepper, and chopped basil. I then either make wild rice, or quinoa, place the grilled veggies over that, and then pour on a little "dressing". It's fantastic. I might sub different veggies in there, like leeks, red peppers, green peppers, cauliflower, etc.

Meal 2: It's my fridge cleaning meal. I'll get a large pot and throw in a little bit of olive oil. Then I chop up every last piece of veggies in the fridge. I'm talking everythink you can imagine veggie wise, all fresh though. Then I'll throw in some beans. My favorite are black or navy. Then I'll add a bit of white vinegar, some yellow mustard, chili powder, and fresh grated garlic, and then okra as a thickening agent. I'll let it simmer for 30 minutes or so. My wife calls it Rattatouille, but I don't think it's more than a big pot of chili type meal. Regardless, it's also fantastic.

Then, a couple times a week, I'll grill some salmon and just have some of the leftovers from the above meals, or similar meals to have as sides.

Works for me.

Your Meal 1 sounds about how wife and I eat every night, though I usually side some meat as well when I can. (Chicken). She's a vegetarian. I'm not.

Ok. I'm kind of in a slump a bit since hitting my birthday goal. I find I do better with a goal and time frame in get to that goal. I think I'm going to complete in the NPC All Star in KC October 25th in the Physique comp. I think I'm more built for that than the BBing side. 5 months to get ready to go. I need the pressure.

Not wanting to get big at all. Been there 20 years ago. Just curious as to how guys do it these days. I am really enjoying lifting again though. I'm doing lots of reps with medium weight. By lots, I mean 15-20. Generally two to three sets, depending on the muscles I'm working out. I do throw in a heavier set of each muscle group per workout though. It's only been two weeks, and 7 workouts, but it's amazing how fast the body, even a middle aged one, starts to adapt and reshape.

You don't want to get too bulked up dude. You'll have trouble performing root canals. . Just try doing jumping jacks instead. I can do 5 and lose 3-4 pounds.

I did notice the guys competing even lagged in the calve department. There was quite a wide range of body composition.

Anyone here take any herbal supplements that are suppose to help boost your energy, mental focus, and memory...kind of like Ginseng?

If so, what do you take and do you think it works?

Has anyone heard of a couple products called Metaboost and NO2?

I read a special report in Mens Health about it, supposedly one of their staffers did it for just one month, didnt work out extra hard at all and got absolutely buff in just one month... the before and after pics were shocking.

Anyone else tried this stuff?

Yeah they don't really train legs. I thought they were going to do away with the board shorts, or shorten them a bit to show a bit of the vastus medialis/top of quad. Either way good luck man!

I have a hard time taking something serious when it uses the word synergistic in the description.

I went four days without the gym over the Memorial Day weekend. Traveled, ate out....a lot. I went to the gym last night, and I had only gained a half pound! I never thought I'd do a victory dance over gaining weight, but I did much better than I thought I did.

Is this a trick question? For women, it's "lose weight while eating as much as you want". With men, it's "get buff without lifting a single weight". There's no such thing as a magic pill.
