Just make it a 12 team playoff for each conference. Each of the 4 division winners get a bye week 1.

Next 8 teams play for the right to play division winners in week 2.

Nobody's feelings will be hurt then.

Why not 16 per conference? We should add the SEC, too! I'm sure they had a hard time watching the game!

My son's peewee team should get home field!!!!!

Nothing against you Renegade, I'm just tired of scenarios that hand teams something they didn't earn.

Why should Buffalo get home field advantage in this situation? Very strong possibility they were going to lose the other night. Both of those teams already dodged 85% of the risk of an injured roster by only playing 15% of the game the other night. Meanwhile KC and every other team has to play a full 17 game schedule.
