Many decades of conditioning will lead Chiefs fans to always find the poop lining.

Chiefs are really a great overall team that is underachieving on offense. No idea what the reason is but Mahomes isn't playing well consistently. I'm sure they'll figure it out in the post-season.

I will say that the one time that Mahomes and the offense has looked right is when they go no huddle and Mahomes just plays ball. At least that's what my eyes tell me.

And then crunch time happens and he suddenly looks like the Mahomese we all love, or even on a random drive in the middle of the game, just to disappear again.

It's almost like he NEEDS the game to be on the line to come out of his shell.

Dude can’t complete a 5 yard out to a receiver with 2-3 yards of separation and couldn’t hit a deep ball to save his kids lives, but all is well.

Seriously. Clay's schtick is beyond old. We all love Pat and what's he's done for us, but obvious bad play is obvious.

I remember he seemed crazy frustrated in 2021, throwing balls at the feet of receivers over and over in that long stretch of shit offense... and I could see some of that, but then you have guys running wide open downfield and he's consistently not hitting those either.

So maybe he's just too much in his head about it, but if they run up tempo or at the end of games, he just stops thinking so much and plays ball... I dunno.

Still expecting he just flips a switch in the playoffs like none of this ever happened.

If you watched that game today and all you thought was "yep we won great game" you have the critical thinking skills of simple jack.

Its the NFL dipshit you can get a good game from anyone especially a team with a good pass rush and a team that loves to throw it.
