Niiiiice. Even though it's garbage time, happy to see McDuffie get into the endzone there. Just ran it down their throats the entire drive.

8-4

Unreal. And it coulda shoulda been 10-2. Just bad luck and injuries.

Amped for whatever bowl we get.

Let’s go win a bowl game, then bring everyone back and take the conference next year boys.

Bean was great tonight. He's been pretty darn good since late in that OU game. Too bad it took him that long to figure it out. Of course, Cincinnati's defense is terrible. But Jason Bean took care of business tonight and played like a stud. Great game, Hawks!

I was quoting the Skyline chili sponsors moonlighting as announcers for ESPN tonight.

While we await our bowl game decision, what a season it's been! I've said it ad nauseum, but had things really gone our way this year, it could have been something truly special, at worst a one loss team right now, and playing for the Big 12 Championship. Those three losses against Okie St, Tech and KSU were all very difficult to swallow. We lost those three by a combined 14 friggin' points... Dammit!

That said, looking around the Big 12, it was a damn competitive league this year. How about West Virginia? Gotta give them credit for a very good season, and even Iowa State. What a record they ended up with after really taking care of business in conference.

So of our four losses, which one was the most painful or most frustrating for you? It's really close for me, but I've gotta go with Okie State for the toughest loss to stomach, with K-State being second. The games were almost identical in how we gifted each away, but without JD or Bean going against KSU, my expectations were quite tempered, so I guess I've gotta go with OsU.

KSU.

OSU is a very close second.

OSU to me was the heartbreaker. It set the tone with a combination of qb meltdown, coaching meltdown, and overall inability to handle late game pressure across the board. It showed a real chink in LL's armor that wasn't just an inherited bad team. We have things to be concerned about. But that is also what makes it a good thing, at the same time.

We get to actually discuss football at KU with meaning. It's been awhile since we have been able to do that.

It sucked losing those OSU and KSU games, but like you said would we have been talking about it at all 2 or 3 years ago? It's just nice to have a dog in the fight.

Yep, 8 wins with an expectation of being better next year?? Wouldn't have thought this would be a thing at all.

It takes time to become a good team and shit happens in games.

We don't have things to be concerned about unless it involves Leipold leaving.

Pray to your personal stupid bird with shoes god he doesn’t leave or get caught diddling a sorority girl.
