I have a hard time believing that either 810 or 610 is being overly pessimistic toward a loaded team that is favored to win the SB and could very well be the best team in franchise history.

If anything, they're probably just searching for something to talk about rather than repeating "this team's gonna kick ass" all day.

CEH running corner routes for TDs is just what this offense needs.

I’m very intrigued by Keyes. I’m thinking he’ll be the last CB to make the team. Seems like he could be a nice special teams player and solid depth.

And trivia. Don’t forget that 810 is the 247 trivia channel.

it seems like each time I flip to 810 they're talking Royals baseball with some old baseball guy; or just by themselves.

the only thing worse than watching baseball, is listening to people talk about baseball; when they have a guest that was an 'old ball player".

all this, while training camp is going on.

Soren is god awful these days.
"ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh"...."uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh" ; followed by a 3 minute infomercial about wherever they're broadcasting from after they return from commercial.

I don't take this as a real good thing. I think we kind of know what Hardman is. I was hoping the Clemson kid would be the real deal.

Nonetheless, 810 at least talks college sports. 610 is 80% chiefs, 10% pop culture, 9% Royals - last 1% they sometimes talk about NBA, random sports and if ur struck by lightening college sports. 610 has better hosts, so it is disappointing. The Chiefs gets pounded at nauseum sometimes.

He’s not necessarily wrong, *someone* has to be the number 2. It doesn’t mean Hardman any better than he’s ever been.

Right with ya.

It's never a good thing to see our players perform well. Personally I'd feel a lot better if Pat was throwing picks every play.

By all accounts, Hardman is having a great camp, and has matured a lot (hence “running away with”).

How is that “not a good thing”?

staylor26 08-10-2021 09:06 AM

It’s absolutely reeruned that people think a year 3 WR that was extremely raw coming out, and still learning the position, can’t get any better.

I've been a Hardman doubter. But I really believe in his potential if he's really putting it together like everyone within the organization is saying he is.

Hardman running away with the #2 receiver job is something we've been wanting from him for a couple years now. Now that it looks like he's finally making that jump that's all of a sudden a bad thing?

Sorry, I can't buy that. And it would be a lot more alarming if a rookie late round pick was already outperforming him. I can't see how that would be a good thing for us at all.
