I was watching these yesterday on HBO Go. Thought they were great. I particularly liked the one with The Hound. He seems like he'd be a fun guy to hang out with.

No it would have made sense to me of how his character had developed to be impressed with Sansa and tell her he's taught her all he knew and that he's proud. And go out like he knew this was coming. Except for he did "sell" her to the Boltons and it was completely in character for him.

Taking the L and resigning himself to his fate would have NEVER been in character for Baelish.

He was always going to go out scheming/manipulating to his last breath. Even his groveling the seconds before he died was insincere and from that perspective he absolutely went out according to character.
